9/11 RemembranceI was in a supermarket somewhere in Scotland during the 2 minutes silence for 9/11 a couple of years ago, and everyone took it very seriously. The lights in the bakery/deli/etc. were turned off, everyone stopped wheeling their trolleys and stopped for a moment of quiet contemplation or prayer. You could have heard a pin drop.
All except for a French family who evidently had no idea of what was going on, and got more paranoid by the second. They must've thought we were all getting software updates or something.
