Cats rock
Yup... Our cat was pretty much on his last legs when the rescue centre found him. He was seriously underweight and didn't even have enough fight in him to stop us from bathing him - he smelled pretty bad.
Three weeks on and he's trying to attract my attention by meowing at me and rubbing against my leg.

Yup, they love pooters, teh kittehs.
I have cushions on my desk for Jeff to lie on, so she can sprawl over my laptop in comfort while leaving hairs and cat-flob on the screen.
You've done well with your cat, and he appreciates it. Awww.
