That's a new anglethe last lot at my door were practically offering to cure cancer. All I had to do was sign up for the "Newsletter".
My asking why God would only cure my cancer (which I don't have, thankfully) if I gave them a fiver a week didn't go down too well. Especially when I suggested that such a mercenary God was not the one familiar from my childhood.
(Actually the one from my childhood was going to ensure I roasted in hell for the slightest infraction - not all that much fun either)
