of the stuff in my CCs are the proceeds of local crime. accept the tools which are all buggered from the local tradies. and almost universaly what others have expressed here is true. however, every now and then something crops up that the valuers have no idea about so they have a stab at it. i have made 3 gold purchaces. 1. new fender strat for AU$600. worth $1400. even pushed them for a hard flight case that was hidden at the bottom of the pile. 2. 100 year old violin. $120. valued after superficial repairs at $1100. 3. SCSI tape back up system $35 re sold for $250. selling to them is a waste of time, and i do feel for people who have had stuff knocked off. if you want a deal out of them, they usualy cave in on price when you wave cash under the boss nose....
