.I've only played once but found by just betting $5 a time on either black or red made it hard to lose every time. I never doubled anything played for about half an hour feeling all silly and inexperienced. I started with $50 and walked away with over $100 I had never gambled before and did it purely because I was on holiday in vegas, in fact its the only betting I did the whole time.
I would still say roulette is the best thing for the beginner like me.
