@ The GoatThanks for the compliment. If I could be arsed, I'd look up what you're quoting in order to agree / disagree in a knowledgeable way.
Look upon me as a sample of the UK population though. Joe Bloggs, if you will. I suffer greatly from political apathy. I know they're screwing us and I have a bit of a whinge, but really I couldn't give enough of a shit to actually do anything about it.
When in doubt, I try to simplify, to look at the "bigger picture" as it were. There are people around the world who have to put in 18 hours of back-breaking labour in order to bring home a loaf of bread to their shanty or hut.
I really haven't got it that bad have I?
