It was pointed out to me
When it was brought to my attention that I still say channel-changer for remote control, picture house for cinema and the worst offence, I use Sky+ to "tape" things.

it does sound a bit odd to say
can you 'box' it though....

Ed Byrne said that he knew his uncle was old because they were discussing a film and whereas a young person might say 'Cool CGI' and Ed would praise the 'Special Effects', his uncle would say "Nice 'trick photography'".

I miss being able to say you're taping things, there isn't a better substitute. I work in a movie hire store called Video Ezy; every now and then some wonk will suggest we change it to DVD Ezy, hurhurhur.
