This is a question Turning into your parents

Unable to hold back the genetic tide, I find myself gardening in my carpet slippers, asking for a knife and fork in McDonalds and agreeing with the Daily Telegraph. I'm beyond help - what about you?

Thanks to b3th for the suggestion

I see myself in your responses.
Lawn - check.

DIY - check.

Doormat - not so much.

Coaster - Only because our new oak table turns up on Saturday!

Home insurance - only because I've been in my new house since November.

Lighting an empty room - DO YOU THINK I'M MADE OF MONEY?!?

Cheap petrol - To be fair I knew this when I was 17.

Stomping - Solid floors = no stomping!

Lazy - Never!

Rubbish TV - It's getting worse every year. I can't believe I just said that.

Beer - Why isn't it £2 anymore?!

Jumper - sensible, especially as I now pay the gas bill.

Radio 4 for me, I think I just skipped middle age and went straight for my sixties at the tender age of 29.

Locked doors - Nope, I live in a respectable neighbourhood, and I also forget to.

Slippers - see jumper and gas usage.

Ha! I dont feel so different and strange now.
However, I am jealous of your ability to not care if the door is locked.

Of course you're not!
I'm in my mid twenties, and seeing your list produced a lot of agreement.

Aside from slippers, I prefer bare feet. And staying in bed past 8 am, damn I do love a good lie in when I can.
A lot of those things are just to keep a nice looking home and save money, what's not to like?

Also I gave up TV the moment I found the internet. Never looked back (apart from maybe QI and some movies).
