This is a question Turning into your parents

Unable to hold back the genetic tide, I find myself gardening in my carpet slippers, asking for a knife and fork in McDonalds and agreeing with the Daily Telegraph. I'm beyond help - what about you?

Thanks to b3th for the suggestion

Dishwashers pah!
I once thought my life wouldnt be complete without one.
Pfft, you had to open the door as soon as it finished otherwise everything condensed and remained wet.
Everything was cloudy, specially the glassware
I used to rewash it all, much to the annoyance of my BF.

I hate washing up, but you cant beat, washing, rinsing and leaving it to dry naturally

Totally
I have one in my flat now. I have never used it, and never will. I often take stuff out of it and wash it just in case.

Like I say, I'm not OCD or anything, they just don't strike me as the best way to clean stuff. I'd much, much rather actually scrub it with my own hands.

I think they're okay
if you spend a fortune on cleaning stuff, have just the right sort of water and make sure to keep everything properly separated.

Which is why I hand wash stuff too. Though I have succumbed to the dishwasher for bowls/plates if I'm in a rush, there are people coming over and have other stuff to do.
