To technically answer correctly,I was born ginger. It all fell out after three days though, and didn't grow back for two years. When it did come back, it was white blonde. These days, it's pillarbox red.

Thisreminds me of when a friend of mine's daughter was born. Apparently there are some afflicted with this curse in his family and, upon seeing that his new born daughter had entered the world spoke the following words to his exhausted wife "She's NOT ginger!"
His wife was, apparently, pleased by all accounts.
He even sent a text message and a picture around confirming this was the case.
