After Amberl's advice below
In real life, don't fight unless you absolutely have to. Talk, distract, run, whatever, you're more likely to live.
And if you absolutely have to fight, there are no rules. Fight to win; fight dirty and hard. Know the weak points and target them.
Fighting is not like in films. It's nasty, brutish, short and horrible. And if you hold back, you _will_ regret it.

nuts are an obvious target
and most blokes learnt to bring up a knee or turn quickly to the side.
Throat, kidneys, temples, eyes, nose, stomach, shins, toes, knees (sideways or from back) - there are no doubt loads of others, but go for something soft and sensitive.
I don't really like talking about all this, a few years' Jiu-Jitsu taught me a lot that I pray I'll _never_ have to use. But it's worth knowing.
