*shrug*I guess I just don't see the humor in being rude to someone who's not been rude first, especially if you don't know them.
Then again, in person my usual habit is to be polite and pleasant to strangers until they give me reason to be otherwise. I know others who fell it's acceptable to be unpleasant to strangers as they're likely to never encounter them again, but I don't agree with that mentality.
'course, I'm a fair bit older than most around here...
