"Bloody Kraut, a" asks, "How did you get your current flame to go out with you? If they turned you down, how bad was it?"
Was it all romantic? Or were the beer goggles particularly strong that night?

our minister told us
"Remember these two rules:
The man is always head of the household, and the pedestrian always has right of way. Either one is liable to get killed if they ever try to prove it ....... "
Wise man!

A woman marries a man hoping he will change, and he does not. A man marries a woman hoping she will not change, and she does.

I too have been at a wedding where the Minister told that joke. Everyone laughed, except the groom's friends (which I am one of)
Y'see, it was too late, she'd already changed him. From seeing him several times a week, to never seeing him again, all within a month of them meeting. I haven't seen him since his wedding, which comprised of one table of his friends, and seven tables of her friends.
It's quite sad, he used to be such a creative, passionate guy, but now he acts like he daren't be seen with us. Every attempt to contact him goes unanswered, and whenever we see her in the street she either blanks us or scowls.
To be fair, we are roleplayers, and she's devout Christian...
