Without wanting to be a wankerIs it really the best thing to do to a cat, for lots of other people apart from it's owner to feed it? It's obviously not healthy for a cat to be massively fat, amusing as it is. Being overfed is not really being 'well looked after'. Some cats will just eat whatever's put in front of them whether they need to or not.
My girlfriend's cat is getting pretty large, though she only feeds it a reasonable amount, and the other day it sicked up some salmon that somebody else must have fed it. Not pretty.
