I went to Uni with a load of AmericansThere was one absolutely enormous guy who joined the Boat Club. In fairness to him, he only wanted to row in one of the lower boats, for a bit of a hobby.
However, they had to ask him to quit, as he seemed to unbalance the boat wherever he sat (and he couldn't breathe after a minute) :-(
