my daddid this once. my brother and i went away with my mum and grandma when we were little for a week's holiday.
when we got back, dad had watered the one silk plant and let the rest die. he was never left in charge of plants again.
which, come to think of it, was probably deliberate!

All Dads must think alike, Rachelswipe.My Dad carefully watered all the plants in the house while Mum was away. Including the plastic ones. At least the real ones lived.
