This is a question My most gullible moment

Someone once told me that gullible wasn't in the dictionary and I went, "yeah yeah ha ha" but when they were gone that didn't stop me checking. What was YOUR most gullible moment? Zero points for buying an icon on b3ta.

My head...
.

"Expensive red wine doesn't give you hangovers"

Why did I believe this?

Meh. One of the worlds foremost experts on getting pissed. 30 years experience with the grape and the grain and I still fell for this one.

You'll be able to answer me this one then.
Do dark-coloured drinks give worse hangovers than lighter-coloured/clear drinks?

When I was much younger
and was the PFY

I could happily keep up with the "old hands" in the pub (a combination of youth, apptitude and practice)

then one of the bastards told me that scrumpy doesn't give you hangovers because its all natural, no additives or chemicals.

So of course, I spend the next friday after work drinking nothing but the local death scrumpy from hell. Gallons of the stuff.

God knows how I got home, and I was in bed until the sunday night!

No hangovers my arse!

Dark vs Light
According to the BMA, from worst to best for causing hangovers are:

bourbon, whiskey, brandy, rum, red wine, white wine, gin and vodka.

But in my experience, it's quantity rather than type that dictates how bad your hangovers going to be. The more alcohol, the worse the hangover.
