Tony "donkey" Adams
told a memorable anecdote about Gazza. I forget the exact details, but...
They were sharing a hotel room during some tournament or other. Adams is watching TV in the morning when Gazza gets out of bed (stark bollock naked, of course) and declares he's going for a shit. "Fine" thinks old Donkey. He hadn't banked on Gazza simply walking into the bathroom and sitting down on the throne in full view of the couch, door wide open.
Having witnessed the display of the football legend-mental emptying his bowels, the final flourish came when Gazza stood up, failed to wipe off or even flush then plonked himself next to Adams on the pristine white leather sofa.
"It was grim", understated Adams.
