This is a question Bizarre habits

Sandettie Light Vessel Automatic tells us: "Until I pointed it out, my other half use to hang out the washing making sure that both pegs were the same colour. Now she goes out of her way to make sure they never match." Tell us about bizarre rituals, habits and OCD-like behaviour.

A guy a worked with
Would NOT have any socks but black, and was visbily irritated by people wearing socks with patterns or (horror) pictures on them.

If someone gave him socks at Christmas which were not black, he'd throw them away.

Of course everyone in the office had to wear "silly" socks all the time once this was discovered.

I can...
Only wear socks that match so I stay away from plain black ones as it's too hard to pair them up. Something about them not matching is un-nerving. My mum (when I lived at home) would just pair up all the black socks then I'd have to go and secretly inspect them to make sure that the exact level of black-ness matched. If one were more faded than the other... no way! Can't wear them. Threw away 18 socks the other month as some were genuinely missing but others just weren't the same shade anymore and then therefore can't be worn as a pair. I'm a sock freak. Gone for lairy bright ones now so it can never happen!
