Bizarre habits
Sandettie Light Vessel Automatic tells us: "Until I pointed it out, my other half use to hang out the washing making sure that both pegs were the same colour. Now she goes out of her way to make sure they never match." Tell us about bizarre rituals, habits and OCD-like behaviour.

Airport - tickets and passports
I check, and check, and check again.
Then I make sure the bag is zipped up right, before starting again. Don't want to lose them. I probably spend 15mins out of evey hour while at the airport doing this.
Anyway, judging by you lot there must be people who lose sleep over stuff like that.

I do the same
And yet I still managed to lose my boarding pass between check-in and the flight once.

Yes yes and yes
Even when explicity checking everything off on a list. Twice.
And then I'll spend the whole journey to the airport (a fairly long way, generally by taxi) fretting about whether the bag is definitely in the back and not sat on the road still.
After all the nightmares about getting there and somehow missing the flight due to my own stupidity.
Ultimately the worst that can happen is a moderate expense and half a day delay but tell that to the panicking mind...

I will spend ten solid minutes
examining the passport stamp to make sure it's not smudged and is readable by the person who's supposed to let me back in the country. I mean what if he declares it INVALID!!?!?!?! AIEEEEEEEEEEEEE
