Oh my god - i sooo do this exact thing. It stems from when I was a young girl and was convinced there was a ghost in the bedroom that wanted to GET me, so whenever it was dark at night and I went to the toilet (which was next to the bedroom) I would sing a song about how it wasn't me on the toilet, it was actually one of my sisters and so the ghost should not bother coming out. Then I would run back down the stairs at lightning speed.
