At the tender age of 20...I still had parental controls on my computer.
Of course, it took me about five seconds to hack them beyond repair, but the emotional damage has lasted my entire life.

My now ex- father-in-lawgot me to install Net Nanny on his computer to stop his youngest lad looking at anything unsuitable. He was 17 at the time, so I just told him the password and reminded him to delete the history when he'd finished.
