This is a question Helicopter Parents

Back when young ScaryDuck worked in the Dole office rather than simply queuing in it, he had to deal with a claimant brought in by his mum. She did all the talking. He was 40 years old.

Have you had to deal with over-protective parents? Get your Dad to tell us all about it.

Hmmm, maybe
The only time I actually act like a helicopter parent is when my kids are playing on the computer. Not because I am concerned about the content of what they are playing but it’s because I am trying to have a go myself and hate seeing them play a game so badly (Come here son let me show you how to play that level).

I wish I had that luxury
At 10 and 13 mine are far better on the PS3 than I could ever hope to be.
I get them to help me reach higher levels.
They even have a special tone of voice for telling me "You're not that bad dad, honest. Here, let me help you..."
Sigh

Are you my dad?
He still does that when he comes round to say hello, always telling me 'you just need to.....' or 'try doing......' and then asking for the control pad so he can show me.

I wouldn't mind but he's shit at games so the roles end of reversed nad I tell him to 'just try....' or 'you need to.....'

"end of reversed nad"?
You'll have to go to hospital for that one.
