This is a question Helicopter Parents

Back when young ScaryDuck worked in the Dole office rather than simply queuing in it, he had to deal with a claimant brought in by his mum. She did all the talking. He was 40 years old.

Have you had to deal with over-protective parents? Get your Dad to tell us all about it.

Absolutely
My favourite is getting one of my kids to bury me in the ball pool, then rising up from the dead when the other comes through. Get some great reactions sometimes.

you also discover how many kids get absolutely no attention from their parents - there's usually a crowd of attention seeking snotty nosed types following you around by the time you've been in 10 mins.

Ball Pools
I have found that 100% of the ball pools that I have used, I have always come out with a wet knee. They are still fun though.

the only danger is .. .. ..
that you might, like I have, get a reputation for hurting other people's kids.

Hurting your own kids seems to be socially acceptable in these type of situations (the other parents can tutt and point at your clumsiness) but if their brats jump at you and miss and smash their noses on the floor because they fell out of the bouncy castle it's *your fault*.
