Whenever I stay in a hotel
I take the Giddeon bible and write in the back cover "You should have read the Koran, the plot is much better."

Although, I'm sure that if I think hard about it, there are worse things I have done.

I usually write
a health warning in the front, along the lines of

WARNING: Literal belief in this book can damage your mind, employment prospects, children and thinking skills.

Also, there's usually a list of passages to consult on various subjects. I like to add a few to the end, like:

On forgiveness: 2 Kings 2:21-23

On mercy: Isiah 13:15-18

On women: 1 Timothy 2:12

Look 'em up.

On children: Psalm 137:9
