This is a question IT Support

Our IT support guy has been in the job since 1979, and never misses an opportunity to pick up a mouse and say "Hello computer" into it, Star Trek-style. Tell us your tales from the IT support cupboard, either from within or without.

Are you certain you've installed all the drivers?
Best way to check seems to be in Device Manager.

Right click on My Computer, and go to Properties. In the window that opens, go to 'Hardware' tab and click on Device Manager. Once in there, click where it says computer, then click on the top right button, looks like a magnifying glass over a computer. That'll scan for hardware changes, and might help. That's XP though, I've not a clue how to do this in Vista.

Thanks
I've tried this already and it doesn't make any difference. Im getting to the bashing it with a hammer stage cuz at least that will make me feel better while im doing it.
