I agree 100% with all you say... ...except for Japan. As a nation (not as individuals), Japan still needs to go a long way concerning PoW treatment 65 years ago.
Forget it? While I can still remember the long term effects it had on some members of my and a few friends' families, for me to forget would be an insult to them.
