TBH it's not the geekiness that would put me off
But more the fact that you have all these consoles and you won't be using them (as is my understanding).
I mean, c'mon, you have the correct console to play "How to be a Complete Bastard" and you're just putting it on a shelf?

Ah, emulators
There was something magical about the micropause between hitting the button and lighting the kitchen on fire in that game which just can't be emulated, since they iron out all the delays.
