Hypocrisy
Overheard the other day: "I've told you before - stop swearing in front of the kids, for fuck's sake." Your tales of double standards please.

Well, funny you say that
As Ms Crow does insist on paying her way and has certainly bought me meals in the past.
But I think you've got a good case otherwise. I'm all in favour of equality for women*, but just that - equality for both sexes, not the indirect suppression of men masquerading as equality.
EDIT: Oh, and I live with a vegan who operates on an entirely live-and-let-live basis - they're not all bad!
EDIT No 2: I should point out that the grey squirrel is a recognised pest in England anyway, and has already driven out the native red squirrel. Having said that, I'm not sure a coup by a mink population would do us any better...
*I hasten to add that, when I heard the debate about polygamy in the UK on Radio 4 this morning, I was quite astounded that neither side thought to point out that, you know, treating women as a commodity is kind of, well, frowned upon in Britain these days...

I treat all people as equals...
The problem is that the PC-brigade don't. If you're gay, ethnic, disabled, illegal immigrant, non-christian, female or a selection of the above, you are somehow "special". You can't be chastised for your actions, ever hear the word "no", or not get what you want because that is obviously a conspiracy.
Equality means letting everyone be given the right to be an incompetent asshole and for everyone else to have the right to berate them for it, basically. If you have a man working in your office who is crap at his job, the boss would call him a twat, eventually he'd get a disciplinary and maybe get fired. If it was a woman, or anyone vaguely ticking the "diversity" box, then no-one would say a word as the whole place went to shit for fear of being hit with a tribunal...it's insane, really - if you just treat everyone like a human being, you end up being treated like you're Bernard Manning.
Although my mother-in-law could stand to lose a few pounds, come to think of it...
