I know it's not a nice practice...... but we do live in a capitalist country. If goods are scarce they're going to change hands for whatever price the market dictates.
What's the alternative? Let people who have the time to queue for hours - rather than people who have money - get them? Doesn't seem any better. I guess the only fair way is a lottery.
