Overheard the other day: "I've told you before - stop swearing in front of the kids, for fuck's sake." Your tales of double standards please.

We got a definitive list of what was and wasn't allowed.
Not allowed included denim jeans, combats (obviously), T-shirts with 'unsavoury' messages on them, tracksuits, shellsuits, crappy old trainers, flip-flops, etc.
Allowable stuff included cords, chinos (yuck), trousers, polo shirts, T-shirts without unsavoury messages on them, 'smart' trainers, etc.
You get the idea.

I'd have to go to your work starkers. Don't have any gear that fits any of those categories. I'm not a scruffy cunt, but I don't like the idea of looking like a catalogue model. You should wear a tux to work one day and say: "What too smart, isn't this casual enough?"
