Having worked in a certain catalogue store's warehouse for the Xmas consumer panic fest, I can categorically confirm that every crappy thing in the catalogue arrives in a box with chinese manufacturers writing on it.
Given the past history of lead paint and sharp bits of metal wrapped up in a shiny kids toy from pandaland, innapropriate and dangerous prezzies would be spot on.
