Parallel filmiverse.I just came across notstarring.com on metafilter, that tells you the roles that actors turned down, or were considered for. Prime image challenge material I would have thought.
Imagine, for instance:
Platoon - with Keanu Reeves as Pvt. Taylor, and Val Kilmer as Elias.
Star Wars - with Jodie Foster as Princess Leia, Burt Reynolds as Han Solo
Dirty Harry - starring Frank Sinatra?!
and many more.
