I bid £170,000 on a freehold pub on the isle of white.Being a bit drunk my cunning plan was to approach a brewery who would give me the money to tie the pub to them. Couldn't fail, and I was sure £170k would be the winning bid.
I woke up with a hangover to discover I'd been out bid by £5k. Thank fuck for that.
