Simply unputdownable. This story literally has everything: romance, adventure, human interest, car racing, the Welsh, C18th French furniture....something for each and every one of us.
If you read one QOTW this year, make sure it is this one.

This is brilliant.
It's like you've read the definition of an anecdote and thought "NO! I will not be constrained by convention! I will write something so fabulously inane and lacking in content that people will literally trample their own grandparents to escape from the black dripping shadow of my dullness."

Otherwise it won't fulfil its full potential of demonstrating the absolute death-defying futility of the post-radio-show qftw.
