Myspace
went on a date with a lad from myspace. Didn't really think of him as more than a mate by the time the date was over but we'd had a good laugh.
I left him at the train station and started to walk away. I'd walked half way up the road when I heard heavy foot steps coming up behind me at quite a fast pace. It was dark so I was
a little paranoid and started to speed up.
But this person caught up, I expected them to pass me any second but they didn't. Then a hand grabbed my shoulder. I screamed and flung my bag backwards and managed to hit
the person so they let go. I didn't look back as I began to run up the road. That was until the person I'd just hit shouted me
"Footoftim WAIT! its me!"
The voice sounded very familiar.
Yes, I'd just mistaken my date for a mugger.
I felt so guilty about this at the time but less so when he turned out to be a bit on the crazy side.

You did right.
Anyone who sneaks up behind you, without a shout-out, is trying to fuck with your head. Especially if you're a girl on a dark night.
Should have booted him in the goolies.

Why was he following you home?
