There waqs a very large study in the US.They took out all the artificial food colourings for a year from school food and saw the incidence of ADHD behaviour drop stunningly.
Over here in Australia, it's f***ing hard work to find stuff without artificial colourings in, but worth it.

As part of this study, did they give two groups of children food with artificial food colouring, but only tell the parents of one group that the food had artificial colouring in it? That would have helped determine whether the correlation was in any way psychological.
