If they've tried it and don't like itthen fair enough, I don't mind. But don't automatically assume you won't like it without trying it first. The rest of my house are like that except for my daughter who will try any new dish I knock up and usually likes it. She likes sushi, blue cheeses and shellfish. I bought some mussels in their shells, stuck them in a pan with garlic butter. She asked to try one, and then polished off half of them.

AgreedWent on a business trip to Italy this week and have discovered that I don't like risotto, abso-fucking-lutely like mussels in a tomato soup base thing, didn't touch the veal, but I've tried it before and I think it tastes shit, Octopus is OK, but not my first choice now as its a bit too chewy for my liking. And my daughter is the same with food. She'll try it, and if what was supposed to be your tea is to her liking.....well you're dialling up for a Domino's
