Grown adults who think that saying "beep beep"
is an acceptable alternative to "excuse me please..."

Especially if they lower their voices and look around furtively when they say it, as if someone will tell them off for using such foul words.

If you have kids you start to use those word more.
Soon after it becomes habit. It's better than hearing the child swear.
