10 ml of pure alcohol...... or 25 ml of 40% spirits.*
A glass of wine, however is only 1 unit at 8% (125ml x 8% = 10ml). Nearly all wine is closer to 10% these days.
* apparently some pub measures are now 35ml, which would indeed be more than one unit (1.4).
