Some wasps don't stingHowever I didn't know that when one day on the sofa, I felt something tickling my leg. I thought it was a spider that had crawled up so I started shaking my leg and flapping my trouser leg vigorously for it to fall out. It wasn't coming out so I kicked my leg even more until what appeared to be an orange and black striped Cessna come flying out. I screamed and through a cushion at it before jumping off the sofa and leaving the room.
I went back in and shooed it out the window. It turns out it was a wood wasp which are large but don't have a sting.
