This is a question Irrational Hatred

People who say "less" when they mean "fewer" ought to be turned into soup, the soup fed to baboons and the baboons fired into an active volcano. What has you grinding your teeth with rage, and why?

dog owners
who put coats on their dogs. they've got fur, you thick cunts, they don't need your stupid pink fluffy coat! this is england, not fucking siberia! if i see one of these people with their outfitted dogs, i have to cross the street, in case they try to talk to me.
there's no way i could open my mouth in that situation without venting at them.

My Dad's dog is a Ridgeback/Great Dane cross
And has the thinnest coat you ever saw.

He doesn't get a coat put on him, but he probably should.
You should see the poor bugger shivering in the sideways snow of a Scottish winter. The poor sod runs and hides whenever anyone shouts 'Walkies!'

fuck, i love ridgebacks
i'm a bit too selfish and forgetful to have a pet, though

A pet rock is very low maintenance
You don't need a coat for it either.

i don't want to get attached

I suppose it depends on the dog and climate.
I've seen dogs walked while it's -20C and didn't feel the owners were too cruel when giving them footwear to stop them sticking to the pavement.
I think the best way around the problem though is to only own a dog if you can provide it with conditions it was bred for -- that does mean most dogs don't need clothes though.

fair enough
but a yorkshire terrier walking the streets of the north west in temperatures of 17C(which it was today) really don't need a coat, especially a pink one with a fur-trimmed hood.

Agreed!
It's Yorkshire so should be fine from about -2C to 25C, but need a lot more water at the upper end.
I tend to think keeping dogs is cruel unless you can let it run around by itself evey day -- but I'll admit I would love a tiny Yorkshire Terrier (I'm a cat person otherwise -- but only due to the fact I think dogs need to be more free).

Its
those hoodies with slogans on and matching shoes that irritate me. Its a dog its not gonna care if it wears a hoodie with "Little Monster" written on it.

In the states, those little Chihuahuas are filling up the animal shelters
Seemed really cute when Paris Hilton had one with a purse and little pink bow, but they can also be psychotic and yippy and thus not so cute. And I'm told that chihuahuas don't really speak with a Mexican accent.

Makes me hate mirkins more.
(I don't hate all USians, just the ones we see in the media).
