I get this...Though not from my Mother, it's from my Dad.
I'm the last in the 'line', you see, so he's piling the pressure on me not only to sow my seed, but also (if I would be so kind)to produce a boy. A nice Danish boy with a Danish name.
No pressure there, then! :)
