No. It's the flute, but...baroque. You know, less mechanically developed than the modern Boehm-mechanism flutes that are seen today.

So we can play baroque music on the instruments they were actually written for, as opposed to adapting this music for modern instruments, so it therefore sounds inauthentic.

But I am rather a fan of tonguing the flesh-flute as well, as it happens!
