Because Little Scars has been to A&E as many times as I have. The really embarrassing one was when she'd greensticked her arm, and I had broken my leg rock-climbing. We went to the same consultant's clinic, where he greeted her with "Hello, Little Scars, haven't seen you for a bit." Two years previously she'd broke her collar bone TWICE in four months.
