Pathological Liars
Friz writes, "I recently busted my mate who claimed to have 'supported the Kaiser Chiefs in 2001' by gently mentioning that they weren't even called that back then."
Some people seem to lead complete fantasy lives with lies stacked on lies stacked on more lies. Tell us about the ones you've met.
BTW, if any of you want to admit to making up all your QOTW stories, now would be a good time to do it.

My daughter
when she was about 6, believed me and her mum when we told her that we knew when the fairies were coming out to play. What we showed her were the predictable Iridium sattelites, the ISS (space station) and the shuttle, we once saw 3 sattellites and the ISS being 'chased' by the shuttle, all within 6 minutes of each other.

I've used an iridium flare to freak out a particularly preachy god-bothering aquaintance. Gave him a prediction and loaded it with some speil about it being decoded from the bible, and that it was an angel that was 'scoping out for the rapture*'. I let him in on the secret a couple of days later, but in the meantime he'd run around recounting the story to a gaggle of others of his logic-impaired** clan. Actually, a week later he was no longer grovelling to the sky pixie so I guess he can't have been *that* logic impaired. He was still a preachy little tit though.***
heavens-above.com/ for those who'd like to see/predict their own angel returning to pops...
* It was an obscure thing back then, most joes on the street had never heard of it.
** Still PC, sheeeee?
*** yes, I am aware that I am a hypocrite in this respect, it's because I'm better than you.
