Seriously, every time I find a female musician that I really like, one whose work is interesting and who has a nicely gritty edge to her and sings songs that I can relate to, she turns out to be a lesbian. Another example would be Patricia Barber or Erin McKeown, and it wouldn't surprise me at all to hear that PJ Harvey doesn't like guys either...
Ah well, at least I still have k. d. lang...
