Friends/cams/flexis are absoloutly THE thing for those times... or.. good ole tricams: I love mine dearly: good in icy conditions too =)
Re shinyness and Black Diamond; I have a couple of quick-draws with eh orangy bits, and 2 screwgates... the first screwgate i got in that mad colour was to go though my "lucky" figure 8... t's pink/purple.. I was going fo the nastiest clash known to man.. and I think I succeeded.
