back in the day of tea strainersbefore or during the transfer to teabags.
We came to have a cup of tea one day to dicover we couldnt find the tea strainer. We ended up using the sieve as strainers were quite hard to come by. hours turned into days, days turned into weeks.
Then a few weeks later we find it...
in the oven
Quite how it got there none of us knew.

the tea strainer was metalso it was cooked every day for those weeks.
