This is a question Losing it

Bluehamster tells us: "This morning I found myself filling my mug not a teabag, but with Shreddies." Tell us of the times when you've convinced yourself that you're losing your marbles.

The dream thing reminds me of myself, actually.
I often get dreams so vivid I wish I could draw, or with storylines so complex there's no point even explaining them afterwards.

I don't think you're losing it, maybe you just have an overactive imagination. When I was younger (around early teens) I used to hear someone saying my name quite a lot, but it was just my imagination making something out of silence.

I once dreamed a full feature-length sequel to John Carpenter's The Thing
it was excellent.

Was macready or childs infected at the end of the first film?
I just have to know, it's always bothered me.

Yes

which one?
surely both wouldn't have been infected as they'd have both just merged / made sweet alien love with each other or something once everyone else was dead.

Yes

No

Maybe.
I don't know.

Could you repeat the question?

What am I doing here?
How did I get in this taxi?

I have dreamt whole original films before
I just wish I could remember them, I am never sure if I actually dream the whole film or just certain scenes and then invent the back story as to how they got there and where they are going.

I dreamt a whole sequel to Eraserhead once
I often wished I could remember more of it, but I think perhaps the illusion of coherance and awesomeness is just a by-product of only half remembering it.
